Here come's the next english assignment. It is an oral presentation. In this assignments, we have to do research and deliver an oral presentation describing a future city or future plans of an existing city. In the presentation, it has to include the following areas :
1. Security
2. Water and waste management
3. Tourism and Hospitality
4. Transport, Energy Management and Disaster
Relief
5. Green Building
Each of the group form by 5 members. So after a few minutes of discussion, our group has chosen future city as our topic of the assignment. We decided to propose a floating city in the future. The whole city will cover by a transparent glass and it is unbreakable. And we named it BUBBLIKA. My part was to talk about tourism and hospitality. Here's my group presentation's slide show:
I have to admit this assignment is more challenging for me as i have no idea about how's a tourism of the floating future city looks like. And i am afraid that i can't present well because lack of speaking English in the past. Luckily we did much prepartion before presentation and we did quite well during oral presentation day. We have learnt a lots about Future City when doing our research through the internet and how's a floating city works. Lastly, i have learnt my mistakes from the presentation such as lack of eye contact to the audience during my presentation and quite rely on the srcipt. People always learnt from their mistakes so that i believe i can perform better in my next presentation.
