Eng II - Comparative Essay

The first assignment of this subject. In this assignment we are required to compare two types of English language movies which are based on James Bond films OR Thriller films. Once you have chosen the genre you would like to attempt for this comparative essay, the next stop is to understand the materials published on this genre to gain a better understanding of what's it about. Re-watch the movies and start doing your comparison and contrast essay. It's either a comparison of similarities or differences of the movies. Essay should within 600-1000 words.

I've chosen thriller films as my genre and the movies are The  Conjuring and Sinister and content is about the comparison of their similarities.

REFLECTION

To be frank, this is really an interesting assignment! I love watching films, ESPECIALLY horror films, so i really did enjoy a lot when i was doing this assignment all the way. This is also my very first time to be so focus and paid a lot of efforts on watching films. Besides, pre-writing essay is always a very useful way to complete an essay, I've learned how to write it in a more effective way. I think the biggest learning outcome that I've gained from this assignment is the ability to compare, contrast, analysis and synthesis information from two films in an essay! Much appreciated.
