ICI Project 2 - The Building Team

This project will be divided into 3 parts.  Students will get to know the structures of organization and the team involved in the construction industry. Part 1 is a group task. In a group of 5-7 persons, we are required to interview a key person that involved in the construction industry. As our group mates Chester's Mum is an quantity surveyor  so we decided to interview her. We have to think and plan the questions and structure of interview by ourselves and also have to take video when invertiew to make a film. In Part 2 we have to gather our information after finishing our interview and make a video presentation that the total length should not exceed 8 minutes. Part 3 is an individual task. We are required to illustrate our article and informations on a 6 pages magazine/booklet which included cover. The magazine/booklet must be be fully printed.

Magazine 

This is my first time to interview a professional person in a formal way. It was a good experience for me to know more about the structure of interview and enhance my communicating skill. I really do much appreciate this project that provided us the opportunity to face to face interviewing an professional QS where not only just doing research and information from internet. Besides, i have also learnt know how to design a magazine after doing some research through the internet. Ms.Adeline Tan is a nice person that she gave us a lots of advice especially there is one she keep repeated which is STAY FOCUS. We must have passion towards our carrier no matter what happens so that we only can excel from there.
